Dr Matthew Magarey is honoured to accept the position of Chair for the world renowned Head & Neck Multidisciplinary Meeting at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

This meeting is attended by Head & Neck Surgeons, Reconstructive Surgeons, Medical Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists, Pathologists, Radiologists, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dentists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, Nurse Specialists and also junior doctors and medical students.

All cancer cases are discussed to determine the most appropriate treatment and care plan for each patient. Local Clinical Trials that are leading the world in cancer care are also raised to see if this is an option for many of the more challenging and complex cancer cases that are treated at Peter Mac.
